BGMI Bans Over 70K Accounts Amid Cheating 

In order to prevent cheating, South Korean gaming giant Krafton said that it has permanently banned a total of 71,116 accounts from December 27 to January 02, 2022. Earlier, it permanently banned more than 1.4 lakh accounts in less than a week. 

Krafton said that the company is taking necessary action to curb cheating through various methods. It noted that the company is going to introduce stronger cheat detection and banning mechanisms.

The gaming giant in a statement said, “71,116 accounts were permanently banned from Dec 27 ~ Jan 2. We would also like to present to you the entire list of cheaters who have tried to ruin our Battlegrounds.”

“Battlegrounds Mobile India will strive to implement strong sanctions with the ultimate goal of eradicating the use of illegal programs in order to provide you a pleasant gaming environment,” the company added.
