However, as the gaming industry makes giant strides in its ecosystem advancement, it also poses a requirement for talent availability with the latest skillsets. Game development presently requires consultants to be at par with cutting edge skills of Design Engineering for UI/UX, development technologies of Python, PHP, and the ability to transcend data and analytics models among others. The people supply chain within game enterprises is potentially stressed in view of constantly evolving talent specific demand.
The online gaming industry is growing at an impressive CAGR of 20 per cent and holds significant potential for job creation and digital economic growth for our country. This presents an opportunity for staffing companies to partner with the Gaming Industry in meeting their rapid resourcing demands. Among the areas that staffing companies can help in lies proactive partnering with gaming customers for bridging the time taken to address a given talent requirement. There are several initiatives that staffing players can undertake in order to be prepared at the right time for meeting resourcing needs, which includes continuous upskilling of consultants and mutually agreed on dedicated talent pools for customers.
