Keeping an eye on the ongoing gaming craze in the entire country, Jio and MediaTek have launched the second edition of the Gaming Masters esports tournament, which includes Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI).
As per the official statement, the Gaming Masters 2.0 will have a prize pool of Rs 12.5 lakhs for which participants can register. Meanwhile, the first edition featured Garena Free Fire which recorded a total of 14,000 team registrations.

Gaming Masters 2.0 is going to take place over a three-month time frame. The event is going to start off on November 23 and end on January 10. Qualifier 1 will happen from November 23 to November 27. Qualifier 2 will be held between November 30 and December 4, Qualifier 3 from December 7 to December 11, and Qualifier 4 from December 14 to December 18. The ‘way to the final’ will start after the qualifiers stage from December 21.
Amid the esports debut in Asian Games 2022, the game developer firm Krafton has said that players of Battlegrounds Mobile India also known as BGMI will be able to qualify for the major medal events which will take place from September 10 to 25, 2022 in Hangzhou, China.
