Retaining its market share in India, Optoma has announced that it has retained its position in the 4K UHD, laser projector & Laser TV projector categories in India during the second quarter of 2022. According to the recent worldwide projector market information expert Pacific Media Associates (PMA) report, Optoma enjoyed a 49 per cent market share in the 4K UHD segment, a 43 per cent market share in Laser projector segment & a 60 per cent market share in the Laser TV Projector segments.
The overall projector market has witnessed good growth in the last year, according to the PMA report. The brand saw its share in the 4K UHD segment grow by 2.5 times, while the laser projector segment has registered a 9x growth in comparison to the 3x growth of the market in 2021. The report has also highlighted that Optoma is amongst the top 3 brands in the overall projector market.
