RisingWings, a subsidiary of Krafton, Inc., announced its plans to enter the global blockchain game market with Competz.
According to the press release, Competz is a blockchain-based esports service where players can compete and earn rewards based on their skills and experiences.
Leveraging its expertise in developing premier mobile game experiences, RisingWings will develop several new games for the service that will be released within this year, the statement added.
Players will soon be able to compete against other players in easy-to-learn but hard-to-master games, including Solitaire, Bingo, Pool, Mini Golf and Hunting.
“Competz is developed based on RisingWings’ experience and technology gained through successfully launching many casual sports games in the global market,” said Moon-chul Kang, the vice president of RisingWings.
He added, “It will become a service for everyone by providing a fair competition environment where anyone can compete under the same conditions. Based on the partnership with Bora, Competz will maintain a healthy economy ecosystem, with plans to expand options for users through adding and expanding to different blockchain platforms going forward.”
