Squid Game Inspired Indian Game Registers Over 4 lakh Pre-registration On Google Play store

Earlier, the Pune-based company informed that it has made its way to Indian mobile games and garnered over 300,000 pre-registrations for the Squid Royale Games mode. 

After grabbing eyeballs all around the globe, Squid Game, a South Korean drama web series, the craze of this Netflix’ show has reached India as well. 

A few days ago, the OTT giant said that Squid Game became one of the most popular series ever, drawing more than 111 million fans since its debut. 

Now, a Pune-based studio, SuperGaming, released the game inspired by the show. The multiplayer action game known as Silly World has received over 456,000 pre-registrations on Google Play Store, confirm the company. 

SuperGaming took to its official Twitter handle and wrote, “Squid Royale mode now has 456,000 pre-registrations which is coincidentally 1,000 times more than Squid Game’s 456 participants. Have you pre-registered yet?”

Talking about the show, Squid Game is a survival thriller based in modern-day Seoul, where several people burdened with heavy debt pitted against each other to play simple children’s games to win millions or die during the process.
