ATechnos Group Appoints Sumit Damani As Global Business Head Of Gaming Division

The ATechnos Group, a digital transformation, mar-tech, consulting, content and VAS platform services company, announces the appointment of Sumit Damani as the Global Business Head of GoGames, one of the group’s subsidiaries. As an industry veteran with two decades of hands-on experience in the telecom, VAS, gaming, content and mar tech domains, Sumit will be spearheading new business opportunities, while also continuing to nurture strong relationships with the group’s existing domestic and international clients.

“Today, brands are increasingly integrating gamification into their websites, apps, and social media pages to drive customer engagement. GoGames, an important part of ATechnos’ varied digital suite, has successfully enabled a sense of competitiveness and achievement for the customers who play our games and reap amazing rewards. When we recently witnessed a manifold increase in traction and revenue for GoGames, we knew it was time for an expert to lead this vertical and take it to its full potential,” said Sunil Batta, Group Chief Business Officer, ATechnos Group.

Sumit, with his transformational stints at OnMobile and Idea Cellular in the past, is a seasoned professional with twenty years of rich experience in growing existing businesses and building new ones. His core strengths lie in Business Management, Business Development, Client Relationship Management, Strategic Partnerships, Product, and Project Management, all of which he drives with the mindset of an entrepreneur and a keen eye on efficiency and profitability.

His primary responsibility will be to nurture and grow the GoGames business from a vertical to a separate unit altogether and Sumit will be responsible to devise new product strategies and find new areas of growth to build GoGames from strength to strength. Aided by a team of competent domain experts, his core functions will be to add new logos, increase business from existing partners, build new products and expand the business across geographies.
