eISL Qualifiers Reach Final Stage, League & Playoffs Scheduled For April

The Indian Super League’s (ISL) esports league, eISL, has reached the final stages of its qualifiers. This season marks a significant shift with the qualifiers being held offline for the first time. This format provides players with the opportunity to compete physically, representing their home ISL clubs.

To ensure a smooth experience for participants and viewers, eISL has partnered with industry leaders. PlayStation serves as the official console partner, while Reliance Digital acts as the tech partner. JioGames is the esports partner and JioCinema will handle the streaming.

Additionally, the qualifiers, primarily hosted at Reliance Digital stores, will continue until 31 March. This will be followed by the league and playoffs scheduled for April in Mumbai. PlayStation will be providing the console setup for these later stages. Reliance Digital, a retailer specialising in gaming technology, is offering special discounts on consoles and accessories to promote esports during this partnership.

In addition, a large portion of participants are competing for their home ISL clubs, fostering a stronger connection between players and the league. Historically, eISL has provided a platform for local talent to showcase their skills and represent their clubs. Over 8,000 individuals pre-registered for the tournament, highlighting the growing interest in eISL.

Further, with a prize pool of Rs 25,00,000 (approximately USD 31,250), competitors are vying for the chance to be crowned the eISL champion. The winner will then represent the league at the prestigious EA SPORTS FC Pro World Championship Playoffs
